Hyparrhenia confinis nudiglumis (Hack.) Clayton

Description: 

* More slender annual. Leaves with a pronounced tendency to develop false petioles of up to 8 cm; ligule 5-20 mm long; sheaths auriculate.

* Peduncles about 1 cm longer than spatheoles, terminally excerted; raceme base with a linear-oblong appendage of 3-4 mm long.

* Sessile spikelets 7-8.5 mm long; homogamous spikelets 6.5-9 mm long; pedicelled spikelets 6-10 mm long with a bristle of 9-14 mm long.                    

Note: Seems hardly to be distinguished from var. confinis, is probably a synonym!
